What our badges mean

Every badge on AI SaaS Radar links here. This page says what each one means, what it does not mean, whether someone paid for it, and how long it lasts.

The short version. Anything paid says Sponsored or (paid check) inside the badge itself. No badge, paid or free, is a test result, a ranking or a recommendation.

Payment never buys acceptance into the directory, a position in the main list, or what our articles say.

Plan badges

On the Radar Free

Means: The listing was accepted under our Listing Policy.
Does not mean: A test or a recommendation.
Lasts: While the product is listed.

Founding Signal #012 Founding Signal #061 · Details checked Oct 2026 (paid check)

Free · #001 to #054 Paid · #055 to #100

Means: #001 to #054: one of the 54 products listed on 15 October 2026, numbered in the order they were first approved, given free of charge. #055 to #100: a paid annual Founding Member, numbered in the order of payment. A badge that also says "(paid check)" belongs to a paying member; that part is the details check below.
Does not mean: Rank or quality. A lower number only means the product was listed or joined earlier.
Lasts: Free numbers: while the product is listed. Paid numbers: while the membership renews. A number is never reissued.

Details checked Oct 2026 (paid check) Paid · Founding Member or Details check

Means: On that date we confirmed who operates the product, working contact details, a published privacy policy, that the product is live and matches the listing, and its pricing model.
Does not mean: A test, a recommendation, or a verdict on quality, safety or legality.
Lasts: Disappears 90 days after the check unless we check again.

Sponsored · Liftoff Sponsored launch, Oct 2026

Paid · Launch

Means: Liftoff: a paid launch slot at the top of a category and of the directory. Afterwards, "Sponsored launch" records the month the product bought that slot.
Does not mean: An editorial choice. The later badge has no effect on position.
Lasts: Liftoff: 14 days. Sponsored launch: permanent.

Sponsored · Locked On: Video & Audio Paid · Spotlight

Means: A paid slot at the top of the named category. At most 2 per category.
Does not mean: An editorial choice, or the best product in that category.
Lasts: While paid, month by month.

Sponsored · AI Visibility Report, Oct 2026 Paid · GEO Pack

Means: The maker paid for a test of whether four AI assistants mention the product, and for a Sponsored review page that reports what the test found. The test is run by BrandGEO, which is owned and operated by the team behind AI SaaS Radar (our product).
Does not mean: A pass mark, a ranking or a recommendation. The badge is issued whatever the result.
Lasts: Dated, and stays on the card. The date tells you how old the test is.

Information labels

Added by our editors, free of charge, wherever they apply. They cannot be removed by payment.

Label	What it tells you
Founder-submitted	On every listing, free or paid. The maker supplied the information and we reviewed it for accuracy. We did not test the product.
No AI	A utility for AI and software builders that has no AI feature of its own.
Adults only	The product is meant for people aged 18 or over. It is not sexual content, which we do not list.
18+	Sports-odds or betting data. Data only, no wagering.
Not affiliated with [owner]	The product uses another company's model or brand name to describe compatibility. That company does not run or endorse it.
(paid check)	Shown inside the Details checked badge. The maker paid for the check, not for a result.

Our own connections

Products linked to the people behind AI SaaS Radar are listed on the same criteria and in the same order as every other product, and labelled wherever they appear: on cards, in articles and in the newsletter.

Label	Meaning	Currently
Our product	Owned or operated by the team behind AI SaaS Radar.	Jobboard.ro, BrandGEO, Talentwelove
Client	The owner of AI SaaS Radar provides paid services to this company. The listing itself was not paid for.	IfSocial Club

Limits and rules

• At most 2 Sponsored slots per category and 8 across the site at any time.
• Founding Signal numbers stop at #100. Founding Member closes when #100 is issued or on 31 January 2027, whichever comes first, and does not reopen.
• "Details checked" disappears 90 days after the last check unless rechecked.
• Words we never use on anything paid: Best, Top, Pick, Award, Benchmarked, Recommended, Verified, Tested.
• Links on paid cards and pages carry rel="sponsored". Links on free cards carry rel="ugc nofollow".
• The main list on /tools is in order of approval. Sponsored slots sit above it, separately.
