The 10 GEO Tools Worth Evaluating in 2026, Ranked by Who Should Actually Buy Them

By AI SaaS Radar Team · Sep 2026 · 8 min read

Disclosure: AI SaaS Radar is operated by the same people who build BrandGEO, which appears at number three on this list. We have tried to describe it on the same terms as everything else here (stated features, published pricing, and the buyer it actually fits), but you should weigh its placement accordingly. Every price below is as published at the time of writing and moves frequently; verify before you commit.

Underneath the positioning, these platforms all do the same core thing: run a set of buyer questions across AI engines on a schedule, then track how often your brand appears, which competitors beat you, and which sources the models cited. The differences that matter are how many engines, how many prompts, how often, what you get beyond the dashboard, and what it costs. Ranked here by breadth of fit rather than by a single score, because the right answer is genuinely different for a 10-person B2B company and a global brand with a governance committee.

1. Profound: the enterprise default

The broadest platform coverage in the category at 10-plus AI engines, plus an "Agents" action layer that goes beyond reporting, SOC 2 and SSO. Entry is around $99/month billed yearly, but that plan covers ChatGPT only with a single seat; realistic enterprise deployments are custom and land in five figures a year.

Best for: large organizations with multiple stakeholders, procurement requirements and the budget to match. Skip if: you are a small team, where the price is very hard to justify against what Peec or Otterly give you.

2. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best if you already live in Semrush

Around $99/month per domain standalone, tracking 25 custom prompts with daily AI rankings across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity. Semrush One bundles it with classic SEO from roughly $199/month Starter, $299 Pro+ and $549 Advanced.

Best for: teams already running SEO in Semrush who want AI visibility in the same workflow rather than a second login and a second contract. Skip if: you are not a Semrush customer. Bought purely for AI visibility, it is mid-priced for mid-coverage.

3. BrandGEO: niche B2B brands that need the next action, not another dashboard

An AI Visibility Score from 0 to 100 built from six named dimensions (recognition, knowledge, sentiment, accuracy, reach and consistency) rather than a single blended mention rate. The accuracy dimension is the genuinely differentiated part: it is one of the few platforms treating "the model recommends you but describes your product wrong" as a tracked failure mode rather than a positive mention.

The other distinguishing piece is the gap-to-post workflow, which converts detected visibility gaps into P0/P1/P2 prioritized actions, content briefs and draft posts. That matters for the buyer profile it targets: small B2B teams where the bottleneck after a visibility report is not knowing what is wrong, it is having nobody with time to write the fix.

Engine coverage scales with plan: Gemini and Claude at the low tiers, ChatGPT added at Essentials, Perplexity and Google AI Mode at Growth, Grok and Google AI Overviews at Growth PRO. Pricing runs €0 Free, €29/month Radar (a launch price, listed at €39 after launch), €99 Essentials, €299 Growth, €449 Growth PRO, €1,500 Managed for done-for-you, and custom Enterprise with white-label and multi-brand. There is also a 48-hour done-for-you audit with a strategy call for teams that want a baseline before committing to a subscription. EU-based with GDPR compliance, and a published, DOI-registered scoring methodology, which is unusual in a category where most scores are undocumented.

Best for: niche B2B brands, particularly EU-based ones with data residency requirements, that want prioritized actions and drafted content rather than monitoring alone. Skip if: you need ChatGPT coverage at the cheapest tier, which starts at Essentials, where Otterly includes more engines for less; or if you need 10-engine breadth, which is Profound's territory.

4. Ahrefs Brand Radar: the research and citation-source tool

Built on a prompt database reported at 260 million-plus, which makes it the strongest option for large-scale competitive discovery and understanding which sources feed AI answers in your category. Roughly $199 per platform or about $699 for all platforms, on top of an Ahrefs base plan ($129 Lite, $249 Standard, $499 Advanced).

Best for: teams doing serious competitive and citation-source research, especially existing Ahrefs customers. Skip if: the stacked base-plus-addon cost is the problem. All-platforms coverage on top of a base plan is among the most expensive configurations here.

5. Peec AI: the mid-market and agency value pick

$95/month for 50 prompts, a choice of three of six models, and unlimited seats, scaling to $495. The unlimited-seats policy is the quiet differentiator for agencies, where per-seat pricing elsewhere gets punishing fast.

Best for: agencies and mid-market teams tracking several brands who want most of the capability without enterprise pricing. Skip if: you need every major engine at once, or enterprise governance features.

6. Otterly.ai: the cheapest credible entry point

$29/month for the Lite plan: 15 prompts, four engines, unlimited members. The lowest published entry price in the category, and enough to establish a baseline and find out whether you have a problem worth spending real money on.

Best for: small teams and anyone wanting a first read before committing budget. Skip if: 15 prompts will not cover your buying committee. For most B2B companies that is one prompt family, not five.

7. Scrunch AI: enterprise, now inside Sitecore

Starts around $250/month and positions toward enterprise buyers with complex governance and stakeholder needs. Acquired by Sitecore in June 2026, which is the main thing to weigh: a strong signal if you are already a Sitecore customer and a roadmap question if you are not.

Best for: Sitecore shops and enterprises wanting AI visibility inside an existing CX stack. Skip if: you want to avoid the integration risk that follows any acquisition.

8. SE Visible (SE Ranking): visibility and perception at a mid-market price

Focused on visibility, perception and competitive positioning across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Mode and AI Overviews, from a vendor with a long track record in conventional rank tracking and some of the more credible published research in the category.

Best for: teams wanting solid coverage of the five engines that matter most without enterprise pricing. Skip if: you need an action layer. This leans toward measurement.

9. Evertune: brand-level measurement across models

Takes a model-level rather than page-level view, aimed at understanding how a brand is represented across AI systems as a whole. Positioned for brand and insights teams more than for SEO teams, which makes it a poor substitute for the tools above and a reasonable complement to them.

Best for: brand and market-insights functions at larger companies. Skip if: you want page-level remediation guidance.

10. ZipTie.ai: monitoring plus optimization plus client reporting

Frequently recommended for teams that need all three in one place, with particular strength in producing the reporting evidence agencies have to show clients. Less enterprise-heavy than Profound or Scrunch, more action-oriented than pure monitoring tools.

Best for: agencies needing defensible client reporting alongside the optimization workflow. Skip if: you need the broadest engine coverage available.

How to actually choose

Start with engine coverage, because it is the one thing you cannot work around: find out which assistants your buyers use, and do not pay for engines nobody in your market touches. Then count prompts against your buying committee. A B2B company needs prompts spread across problem-stage, shortlist, head-to-head, objection and implementation questions, and 15 will not stretch across all five.

Then ask the question most evaluations skip: what happens after the report. Monitoring tells you that you are losing. Whether the platform also tells you what to do about it, and drafts it, is the difference between a subscription that changes something and one that produces a chart for a monthly meeting.

Finally, be careful comparing scores across vendors. Different prompt sets, engine mixes and sampling rates make two platforms' numbers for the same brand genuinely incomparable. Pick one, and treat its trend rather than its absolute number as the signal.
